Students Council Students Students Council
    Students Council is established to provide communication between the University administration and the students regarding their educational, social, cultural and health care needs.
  1. Candidates for the Student Council are elected among successful ones.
  2. Elections are done in October every year according to the related calendar under the coordination of the Election Committee.
  3. Following the election regulations set by school election committees in every school, the elections are done in the sequence of class representatives for every department/program, department/program representatives and finally the faculty/school representatives. They are elected for a period of one year.
  4. University Students Council is constituted by the faculty/school representatives and they form their administration board by electing a head, who represents the Council, a deputy head and a secretary.
  5. Head of the Students Council is invited by the Rector to the weekly Senate and Administrative Committee meetings to represent Muğla University students in related issues.
