The Scientific Research Projects Office carries out the research activities and technical services in order to contribute to the advancement of knowledge; the development of professional and industrial practice on local, national, and international platforms; and the assessment of social and environmental impact.

The specific duties of the Scientific Research Projects Office are:

 Managing the secretarial services of the Scientific Research Projects Commission;

 Preparing the Annual Budget Report;

 Unit Budget Planning;

 Following up the funds supporting the projects and consisting of the travel payment, service procurement, and purchasing of materials and consumers goods;

 Contributing to the scientific world by encouraging the researchers during the application, evaluation, support, and publication processes of project proposals.
