The Erasmus+ KA220-SCH GREENLIGHT project, coordinated by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, concluded with a final conference highlighting its achievements in energy literacy and sustainability education.
The GREENLIGHT Erasmus+ KA220-SCH Project, coordinated by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKU) since 2024, officially concluded with a final conference held at the Atatürk Kültür Merkezi and attended by Rector of MSKU, Prof. Dr. Turhan Kaçar.
Bringing together partners from Portugal, Greece, and North Macedonia, the project aimed to promote energy literacy, renewable energy awareness, and sustainability education among young people through innovative educational approaches.
Led by Prof. Dr. Hülya Kara Subaşat and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gürcan Çetin, the project produced a wide range of educational resources, including a renewable energy database, digital learning modules, educational games, STEAM workshops, and practical activities designed for teachers and students.
The conference showcased the project's main outcomes and evaluated its contributions to education and sustainable development. Academics, teachers, students, and project partners also exchanged best practices on renewable energy education and discussed opportunities for strengthening international collaboration and promoting a sustainable green energy culture.
